Audeze LCD2 Rev.2 Rosewood Headphones - w/ Warranty and Hard Case
Will Ship To: Anywhere
Selling a near mint condition LCD2 Rev.2 rosewood headphones due to lack of use. Since I upgraded my speakers, hardly use full sized headphones now. Decide to just keep the HD800 and sell everything else.
These LCD2 R2 headphones were bought end of last year, total head time is probably less than 30hr. Just don't feel very comfortable w/ these, especially compared w/ HD800 and my sold Grados.
Couldn't find the papers (warranty card/receipt/frequency chart), so I contacted Audeze about the warranty status of these headphones before I decided to sell, they said since no receipt, they'd hornor warranty based on shipping (out of factory) date, which was March 1st, 2012 (verified by them based on S/N). So its three year warranty will expire by March 1st 2015, means it still has near 1.5 years warranty left. And it's transferable (words from Audeze). I'll forward the correspond email to the buyer upon or after the transaction.
The headphones are still in shinny mint condition w/ very few light use marks on the wood (the soft rosewood gets scratched easily if don't use with care), not visible unless looking hard. The earpads are still firm and not burnt in yet, so they might not feel very comfortable on the first try. From all the reviews the fitting will improve after some usage, but I decide just stick to the HD800 which is super comfortable out of box. They were kept in dry cabinet all the time. Kinda waste I guess. The headphones come w/ stock balanced cable (terminated w/ 4-pin XLR plug) and unbalanced cable (6.35mm stereo plug), wood care kit, hard carry case as shown in photos.
There are a lot reviews about these LCD2 headphones, many compared these to HD800/HE6 or even the newer and much more expensive LCD3, the LCD2 still hold up well against these, and it's ranted #3 among all over-ear full sized headphones at head-fi.org (the #1-HD650 and #2-ATH M50 can't really compare w/ the LCD2 IMO):
Here is your chance to get a near mint condition LCD2R2 for a few hundred $ less than retail price, and it's still covered with near 1.5 years warranty. I'm asking for $OLD only, and that includes paypal fee, EMS shipping cost to anywhere around the world.
Since it's not a small price tag item, I hope I could deal w/ someone who at least have some feedback ratings here already. Hope you understand.
Thanks and cheers!
