Schiit Lyr - Tubes and Cans For Electronic/Dubstep

Hey everyone!

So I picked up a Lyr for my DT770 Pro 250's and holy Schiit did it make a difference. But I feel like they are lacking when I listen to electronic and dubstep from time to time. They are great for rock, jazz, blues, and classical but they aren't filling the boom boom role I'd like when I have a mood for something different.

So, what tube and can combo would you recommend? I'd love to stick with Beyers if possible as my current cans are 3 years old and not only sound amazing still but they aren't showing any signs of wear. However I'm also willing to try some Sony cans, I was just hired by Playstation so I get all Sony equipment at cost so it really helps. I'd like to keep it under $350 for tubes and cans if possible, I'm a little flexible if its going to be a huge difference for a few bucks more. I'm currently not using a DAC and my source is either an iPad mini or a custom built PC.

Thanks in advance!

A good set of Russian 6H23n or Tesla gold pins should give you a little extra bump in the trunk....especially compared to the JJ tubes (at least on my K701s)
