Fostex T50RP pads loose twice, how do I attach them?

This is the second time that the pads to my Fostex T50RP have come loose. Any tips on how should I attach them. I was thinking of using araldite or some other permanent fix but it might destroy the plastic.

Any tips?

The earlier pads were attached with a double sided tape. What doesn't help my case is that I have the HiFiMan pads and don't have the stock pads, and I've heard that the HiFiman pads aren't an exact fit.

Help please.

They don't seem to work for me, maybe because I don't have a decent quality double sided tape

Moreso I store them normally as they are lying on a table :|
