Not as bad as Ultrasone, but yep Grado is a huge offender as well.

My head-fi journey started for all intent and purpose with the SR125s. Fell in love with what Grado could be and moved on to the 225s and then my last Grado was an HF2. I would like to again try a Grado, but not sure where? I loved my DT880s and now really respect what the D7000s are all about so I often what Grado might work for me? I almost pulled the trigger on an RS1 not that long ago.  I am thinking about the TH600, but now this Oppo is almost here? I think I'll cool my jets and wait until after about 6 months with the Oppo having been released and see where things are at.

The D7000 are fairly close to the TH600 ultimately - just less sub-bass and slightly less refinement, probably best to keep the D7000 and focus on adding something complimentary.

I heard the RS1 at the last NY Headfi meet and I really liked the sound. If the grado comfort doesn't bother you, they might be nice pick up.

Still love my Wharfedale Isodynamics! (And the ID2s)

Would love to do a comparison!

As to frustration in waiting for the Oppos to arrive....I just bought an Elgrand Van from Japan. 6 weeks shipping; it arrives, then......4 weeks waiting for 2 NUTS to fix on the front wheel bearings! THEN.....several MORE weeks waiting for registration process to complete!

I can visit the Garage, sit in it........but, have to wait! Will need snow tyres soon (assuming I don't have to wait until Spring!!

Anyone know how the drivers will look?

Kinda getting tired of this waiting game...  Giving up on these...

They are out when they decide they are out, not going to speed it up for people "eagerly waiting". The posts were for unfinalized prototypes so no reason to expect them to bomb these out immediately after they were first seen asap. Lucky we saw these at all.
