Why is the OPPO still in the banner scroll on the front page? It's been almost 6 months now and no product. Surely that space belongs to something tangible.

I have to disagree here. This is a niche product (high-end, high-priced orthos) from a manufacturer that isn't known for its headphones. This is exactly the forum they should care about.

I contacted Oppo a few days ago and this is what they told me:
We anticipate the HA-1 and the PM-1 products to be released by the end of April, so you should expect some kind of announcement within the coming weeks.
We do not have a price yet, as we are still finalizing the internal and external design of these products. But they will be priced comfortably to reflect their build quality as well as market forces.

Yes. So they are still working on prototyping. Even if they done their homework at the end of the April, with shipping time and manufacturing time, we will be most likely able to buy the headphones around early June.
And that is if they actually finish developing headphones and amplifier by the end of April as planned.
