I loved the Shure SE215 at the price of $99.00 because the SQ is pretty great but I returned it because I didn't personally liked the thick cable

If you are going for a balanced armature I would only suggest one with at the very least 2 BA's inside the earphone with one of the preferably a Sub woofer

How would having 'at least 2 BA's' inside an earphone make it better than a single BA driver earphone with better SQ ?

I just don't like the Single BA SQ at all and I would then thus suggest a high quality dynamic driver... I love Bass and thus I wouldn't suggest a single BA earphone. I also referencing from my V-moda Crossfade M-100 Headphone

I have also used the Shure Se215 ,  and Sony XBA-2 which  is a 2 BA setup with a Full range BA, and a Sub woofer and the Bass while clean and clear was meh in the Bass quantity department for me

I think you will love the Hippo VB more than the shure 215 for it's 'dynamic' bass.

What I'm trying to say is, the number/type of drivers is less relevant (placebo) than it's implementation.

a High end Dynamic driver will almost always trump a single BA driver ... specially in Bass where I would say a Dynamic driver will always have better bass then BA drivers anyways

seems BA100 voids that theory, it's not about bass alone for me...that's why I'm getting it.

Lol... I have seen you posting that for a while now almost like advertising them so I take that with a grain of salt...  It is more of a fact that dynamic drivers will deliver better bass Quantity then BA drivers will

I am also basing this on what the OP wanted

not the first time I've heard that. I regard positive advertising as a good thing

'More of a fact', or is it a fact?
