Hey guys thanks for the replies. Now i know i just really need to hear more headphones. Sadly i live in the Philippines and testing headphones is not possible as i know of. So Headfi meets, are they official and is there going to be one held in the philippines sooner or later?

Will you be using your headphones at home only or on the go as well. Also what does the ps3 have as it's Audio Out, that will also determine what Dac might work the best for u as well 

Do you know of any headphones that sound like the 840's but better? I REALLY like their signature.

I sold my 840 because I liked my w1000x better, there is also the Kenwood KH10 I think
