I have the image of the Tofu Eating Tiger from Futurama in my head now for some reason.

....And, it was of course the amino acids contained in Red Meat that did allow homo sapiens to develop the cortex which separates us from all other animals. In other words. Eat only vegetables and you'll soon enough become one:)

Sorry, diets and food are some of the topics I get riled up about. There literally thousands and thousands of companies that are trying to sell you overly expensive "healthy foods" that are no more healthier than what's on your plate. No offense intended and I really didn't mean to insult your intelligence, just got riled up.

Speaking of Futurama, I have about 3 seasons to catch up. Are they good? Should be available on Netflix.

Me and a friend are sharing a server with a gigabit conn on US soil that we have set up as a VPN. Hello American streaming services.. wink.gif

I'm right there with ya CdC - I'm in the midst of losing another battle to try to eat a bit healthier - which for me means that I'm trying to actually eat a salad a few times a week, and I'm also trying not to create my food portions based on how much I think I can fit on the plate. Still seems like an inefficient use of the dishes to me... tongue.gif

However, you are way out of my league on the whole exercise thing. I'm afraid it's too late for me - if I tried that it would be a very short ride to the emergency room.

To continue with food euphemisms Futurama I found hot and cold.  Always worth a watch though, Kif Kroaker on the high gravity planet still has me splitting sides whenever I see it.

The key to healthy eating (and by all the gods of Rome I'm no authority whatsoever) Keep V8 juice on hand so that when you go completely carnivore you can at least drink the vegetables. Has a great aesthetic effect too.

If you're like me and have a genetic aversion to vegetables, put salsa on everything. Never ceases to amaze me what it goes with.

I love Futurama - one of the great adult 'toons.

Those aren't pork rectums. Just a cat I think.

The ingredients consist of more stomach churning leftovers such as chicken skin, chicken and cow eyeballs, pork  fat and skin, and of course the inverted boneless pork rectum. Once they are ground down to a fine mush which resembles ice cream, the salt, starch, flavorings and corn syrup are then added. Then, the mushy goo is shoved into a ‘mystery’ casing, put through a liquid smoke shower, baked, then delivered to your local store

Ice cream, smoke showers? Sounds delicious! And cow eyeballs would only be a step up from fish eyeballs. Goodness knows I've had my fill of those.

Maybe I'll grab a Japadog later on in the day.
