Can't wait to read about your impressions on the sound.

(Maybe some day i will get to do some proper photos of yours... No offense though.)

I can't wait to get mine. I am hopeful they will be as good looking as yours.

Brannan as also offered to let me spend a little time with the universal versions of the Noble CIEMs at some point. I don't think I'll have a lot of time at the meet this Sat. to give them a proper listen.

PLEASE take pictures of mine. I think we are close enough that we can meet up and do this in person.

As for how they sound, amazing. Need to get used to them again. Also they really bring out the EMI the amp I use is getting, so that is weird.

They thumb harder than I remember (maybe because of a better seal on the right side), and the highs are still something I can't really comprehend. So smooth and extended, much better than anything else I've ever heard in a headphone, very realistic.

Darin, we should try to arrange this with the shoot of universal products. Would love to have Jason's CIEMs on our site.

Let's hear more impressions of your set of Kaisers, Mango!

Literally all of my listening has been in sub-optimal environments. I had maybe 27 hours on planes in the past week and the K10 were in my ears nearly the entire time. Most notable was watching movies on an iPad, driven straight from the headphone port, and the sensation of movie-theater like bass. You know when you go to a theater with good sound, and the bass has that deep, deep rumble? And action movies really use the rumble effect? Yeah, these have that. Not like 'oh its deep bass' but 'holy cow this feels like a freaking movie theater.' Sure, the actual chest compressions from the super low end aren't really there, but the effect was totally stunning (and I watched a lot of movies on the long flights).

Isolation was good enough on the planes as well. Not as good as foam really, but still totally fine. The fact that I can wear them and not have my ears hurt for hours after is nice. Maybe slightly less than perfect, but it could be that my right ear is still sensitive after the original fit issue. I would say 85% percent better, if not actually 99%.

Everything I said about the highs hold true still. And the mids, well Soren described them better than I ever could.

Still wondering what portable amp I will end up with. Long battery life. Shielded. pairs nicely. Can be gotten in the USA easily enough.

When I'm not traveling and working sixteen hour days I'll post more...

Shielded and a known good pairing: Meier Quickstep.

Loooong battery life and US made: Pico Power.

Will you be using the iPad as your source or are you looking for a dedicated DAP as well?

Edit: I have a thread about my amp-hunting here, it has taken on a life of its own as a thread about the witch amps pairs well with the DX50: http://www.head-fi.org/t/687288/so-im-looking-for-that-perfect-amp

A few pictures of a Kaiser 10 that went to a well-known head-fi'er (who I hope will share impressions!):

Yes, that's oyster shell!

and the same head-fi has a Noble 8C which I'll also put up a picture of because it's pretty:

So, yes, that means someone on head-fi will have both the Kaiser 10 and 8C soon! I'm keeping their name private so people don't bug them, but hopefully they will chime in sooner or later!

SWEET! As a big fan of the K10 and the original 8.A, I'm very curious about the 10 and the 8C going head-to-head!

Not a huge fan of that K10 custom, not my personal taste color wise. The 8C are quite nice though.

Jo, I read in OP that all k10 orders will come with Magnus cables, is this still correct

All IEM and CIEM products come with the same cable. The cable is an update to the Magnus.

Yes and No

No in the fact that the cable does not utilize the same DIY terminated ends, (Noble's cable uses injected over molded terminated ends) Yes in the fact that the internal core wire, extrusion material & braid is the same.
