Hi Guys,

I am looking for a reasonable headphone (over ear) for recording electric guitar and bass guitar. I also want to listen

a lot of music with the headphone. So I am looking for a headphone for around 100-150 euros (150 dollars) with a good bass and also good for recording. Also I was wondering what the difference is between a Hi-fi headphone and a Studio Headphone I am kinda new to this so yeah..  Thanks for your time guys. I appreciate it

Are you looking for cans with bass enhanced above neutral, or cans that are neutral and suitable for studio work?

I think I will use them more for listening to music than recording since I am not recording that often so a bit of enhanced bass would be fine. Thanks!

Ok--I'll let someone else step in, as bass enhanced cans are not my thing.

Try searching a bit around. Maybe look here for example.. http://www.head-fi.org/t/642228/best-home-studio-monitor-headphones-around-150

The M-Audio Q40 might be a heapdhone to look into, I dunno. It does have enhanced bass...
