LF Closed Recommendation from Best Buy <$100 (

Have been searching around the forums here and coming up with a few different options on where to go under the $100 mark.  I am getting a new job where I will be traveling the world and want something that will fold up and fit in my laptop bag.  95% of the time I will be blasting some high volume heavy metal through these things, so that is the most important factor in my choice.  Could care less about bass, but its nice to have decent quality just so its not an annoyance.  Got a bit too in depth reading some of the terms on here and am not enough of an audiophile to know exactly what I'm reading.  A point in the right direction would be a huge help and highly appreciated!

The Sennheiser HD419 are a great pair at $36 ( at amazon) but not sure you can get them at bestbuy ...but you can on amazon.

BestBuy does sell the HD429 which is at $79.99 which is a step up fro the 419 so I would give those a go based on my experience with the 419. I liked the Sound quality of the 419 but it was lacking bass for me but otherwise a great pair of headphones for the price

Thanks for the quick response! They do have the 419 listed on the site, but none available close to me. Would love to order online e but it won't get here in time. Might scoop up those 429's as the reviews on multiple sites seem positive. Might even look into some IEM's for travel purposes. Only issue is that I'm going to the store in 30 minutes... For Metal the Senns aren't gonna cut it. They are too dark sounding plus you want them to fold up. The Senns don't. Fullsized.

If you are set on Best Buy you are limited. Pioneer h500's are on sale for $40 in store only. Look at the Koss DJ100..Here is an example (Not pimping my sale) But you can see from my pic how they fold...You could get the smaller Senns like the 218 or 28, for the $80 range. Small on ear but they fold.

The DJ100 is basically the same as the TBSE, but the TBSE's cable is removable and has a travel case...

I notice Best buy have the MDR 7506, which is not bad for rock and such genres.
