<$50 headphones for sound booth in a theater

Hi all,

This might be a strange recommendation request, but I'm looking for suggestions for a pair of headphones to be used in the sound booth in a theater that are <$50. Any advice on where to look or what headphone qualities would be useful for this?

I'm guessing comfort and build would be most important since they will be being taken on and off quite often, or listened to with one can on one can off, etc.

Hmmm The Sennheiser HD419 could be a great choice which can be found on amazon sold directly by them for around $36 dollars and are quite comfortable from my experience with them

thinkin about picking these up -- quick question though: how durable are these? the pair i would like to buy would ideally be comfortable and able to be bent. for example, if i had them around my neck i'd want to pull them up so i can listen to the left can while the right one remains off of my ear so i can hear outside noise, preferably without breaking them.

any suggestions/advice greatly appreciated :) thanks

They are plastic and not bendable like the Sol Republic headphones or like v-moda crossfade series but they are sturdy and won't break under normal circumstances ( i don't have them any more because I wanted more punch in the bass but these do sound great overall) in my opinion.

alright thanks

i think i'm looking for a more bendable closed headphone. any recs? sound quality is a lower priority than bendability (not a real word) and durability.

The Sol Republic tracks and Tracks HD are basically indestructible since you can bend them in whatever they want. The Tracks HD is around $80 depending on color model and can be found here

http://www.amazon.com/SOL-REPUBLIC-1241-06-Headphones-Three-Button/dp/B008AKS3QA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1381455447&sr=8-2&keywords=sol+republic

There is also the V-moda Crossfade LP around $100-$110 ( depending on color)  and I would go for those then the Sol republic but the V-mode LP will need a lot of burn-in to sound good  and are bass heavy
