I think it's silly to care about "looks" or "features" for an audiophile headphone (unless it looks ridiculous which none of those do) but maybe that's me.  I would suggest removing those two categories as I think it skews your findings because given the way you have your ratings setup w/e headphone that has the highest total points wins but I think you might have already realized that the cans you like the most don't necessarily match up with what your ratings system portrays.  I do wish you the best of luck in your search for the perfect closed can.  There's also a thread here that is about roughly the same thing, "best closed headphone":  http://www.head-fi.org/t/672743/comparisons-13-of-the-top-closed-portable-headphones-around

My search has come to an end. The B&O H6 has all the qualities I was looking for. Bought them today. I think the sound is terrific. Can't believe that anyone find them lacking in the bass. Thanks for all suggestions!

You said in an earlier post that the Momentum were more or less perfect for you, except for the earpads being too small. I'm having the same issues and am interested in the H6

Would you say that the sound of the H6 was better/worse than the Momentums?

Aside from the earpads being larger, how does the fit compare? One thing I like about the Momentum is that I could wear them in public without looking stupid (I have a shaved head and a lot of headphones have headbands that stick out or are a weird shape make me look stupid ...)

I did a quick A/B test between the Momentum and the H6 in a store yesterday, and I actually preferred the sound of the H6 over the Momentum. The H6 sounds more open, and the bass is more natural and fuller.

Comfortwise the H6 is much better than the Momentum (on my head). The ear pads are just big enough to go around my ears. The headset sits pretty flush to your skull, and you should have no problems wearing it in public.

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it! (I can't find anywhere to demo the H6 locally)

What's the isolation like on the H6?

The isololation feels pretty decent. They may leak some sound if you play at loud volumes. The Momentum might be a tad better in this area, but I haven't done any extensive testing on this.

That's great, thanks again.

The H6 isolates slightly more than momentum. It sounds brighter and more open with a lean bass compared to the momentum, but they are really quite hard to compare between, and I can't say which is best but I kinda like the momentum more, it has a more even and smooth sound overall. The H6 is hands down more comfortable, almost bose comfortable, but the headband might be a little itchy/hard if you are bald (just guessing here)

Thanks for that mate

I'm surprised you didn't like the sound of the AKG K540, as I think it sounds more natural than the Momentums (which are slightly artificial sounding in comparison)
