When i use the padacs with my android phone i only get sound in the left ear… but it works for both ears on my ipod. Is there a way to fix this is?

When i ordered them i figured the built-in controls wouldnt work but i didnt really care about them, but only one earphone works on my phone

My best guess would be that the connectors on the headphone TR(R)S plug are spaced just differently enough that it's not making a proper ring connection.  Seems odd that it would be that way, but that's my guess.

So heres the thing i played around with the headset, and when i push the plug back (assuming the phone screen is facing me) it works good and when angle the chord a certain way. (i have the note 2) So i gave the headphones to my brother who has the s3 and they work perfectly for him...

Could this be because the headphone jack on my phone is messed up or was it just something with the headset? The samsung headset that came with my phone seems to be working good

If they work on your brothers S3 but you have to manipulate them as you said on your Note 2, then I would suspect that there is an issue with the headphone jack on your Note 2.

Take the headphonesphones and both the Note 2 and S3 (with the same music) into the AT&T (just a guess) store and have someone there listen and see the issue for themselves.  You might be able to get a replacement (provided you and they can prove that the issue does not happen on all Note 2's)..
