Audioengine D1 or Topping TP30 for first DAC? (Or other recommendations)

I recently ordered a pair of audioengine A2 and am looking into a DAC/headphone amp combo, i have read a decent amount and currently looking at the audioengine D1 and the Topping TP30.  My intended us is just listening to music through my speakers and headphones, no recording or anything fancy.  I plan to connect the DAC to my macbook via usb, and from there to my A2ʻs via RCA while also having a headphone jack and volume control on the front of the DAC.  I mainly listen to reggae, ska, and rap music if that helps any.  If you have any feedback on either DAC (already paired with A2ʻs would be ideal) or have another setup in mind for a price point of around $180 please let me know! Thanks!

The Chinese are making some fine gear these days. Take a look on ebay at what can be had for $150. It's pretty impressive. Good luck.
