Once you get the hang of it it's not too bad. I basically could just use the existing files from my 1st theme and plug in new backgrounds, change the font colour (the way I created my themes I probably could've used different fonts entirely for the launcher, 1st play, and category screens). Everything else was just remapping/rotating the colours. The only real issue I would bring up is that the coords are global so you're basically stuck with the same-ish layout for each theme (tried playing with the icons trying to get a different look using the same coords but just gave up)

Here's the .xcf files for GIMP if anybody really wants to get into the squishy unbelly of my themes. They were from my original version (theme 1), but I used it as a base for all the others. I'm sure people smarter than me will look and wonder why the heck I did it that way, but there's a reason I'm not a professional...

Cheers.

Didn't do anything to theme 6, that's why it's all messed up. At this point I'm probably going to orphan the project. If anybody else wants to pick it up feel free, but frankly I'm getting a little tired of working on it (not having a simulator really sucks).

Enjoy.

In the third theme (white with blue highlight), the "About X3" section isn't working. It looks like the text is the same white colour as the background (tilt the device up to see).

I did notice that the other day. same thing happens with usb screen. I tried changing all text to black, but it stays white on those screens, so I'm going to assume that the text colours is programmed that way. The best way to fix I suppose is just to replace the bg.png (about_dev, usb folders) with something darker. This also happens with the treble/bass selectors on the DAC screen.

Why can't I download the tools? Do I have to make a File Dropper account?
