You do realize that this isn't about Black Friday, right? It's about how they're belittling and mocking potential customers. You want to purchase from a company that does that, fine. But some of us won't bend over backwards for a promotion.

I'm not mocking anyone, and I certainly have not asked anyone to bend over backwards, forwards upwards or any other direction for a promotion.

Happy Holidays

You do realize they're talking about how it was back then as well, and even as owners of a company they, like us, all have opinions of their own. They have expressed it and I can see you are expressing yours. I respect your decision to not purchase anything from them anymore but I honestly think this is not the place for this type of discussion.

Wow, what happened in the last few pages?

Look guys, we're all audio enthusiasts and even friends on this board. Let's not let an errant post, and some ensuing confusion get in the way of the relationship that we've built, yeah?

The Noble thread is one of the more vibrant and interesting on Head-Fi, and it is rare to see owners of a company continually partake in daily discussion.

Essentially, I agree that asking for a discount can be quite hurtful, considering the hard work that Noble has put in, thus far. However, from what I've seen in the last week or so, nobody has really demanded a discount (correct me, if I'm wrong). Hence, this misunderstanding that we've found ourselves in.

Let's all just shake hands, and let bygones be bygones, alright?

Anyway, in other news..

I'm still getting a Kaiser 10. With or without a discount.

Guys, as I pointed out in another thread, has anyone lost anything? If you haven't lost anything, there is nothing to be upset about.

+1

I have experienced an errant comment on this thread recently which left me feeling a bit bruised (especially having just received my K10s and struggling slightly with misplaced buyer's remorse), but we're all human and we all write things from time to time that don't come across well and the majority of this thread is interesting, informative and most often entertaining.

What kind of buyer's remorse do you have?

None really - that's why I highlighted "misplaced". It was more one of those cases where I was doubting the extent of my investment and worrying whether it would prove to be worth it. At the same time my source was limiting the peak performance of the K10s and I thought I was going to be disappointed, but some relaxed listening time and a better source showed that it is money very well spent. I also initially questioned the design The Wizard made for me because upon receiving them they are much darker in "normal" light compared to the photos, but the reality is that I wanted something subtle and would be forever self-conscious had I received something bright or flashy so it was all irrational doubts and fears (typical buyer's remorse symptoms).

A few days later and I'm going to bed each night looking forward to a few songs of bliss from my K10s and loving every second of them. I also thoroughly enjoy wearing them in public because they're understated, but contain those unique pieces of crystal that hold special meaning and purpose to me so it's a long way of answering, but the answer is I have no buyer's remorse whatsoever!

I can't believe for a such a stupid discussion this thread got banned for a while. Some people are just completely lost and don't know what they are saying.

As for Dr Moulton and Brannan, they are doing what most others can't do, keeping the real contact with their customers and potential customers. We should be happy for it but some people just misuse it. I seriously can't understand some people here. So far, I haven't bought anything from Noble or old Heir but I seriously love and appreciate the work done by The Wizard. If I can get my s**t done, finish my master finally and find a job, I know I will be back here as a customer.

As for the discount, that's pretty strange. USA has one so you expect a multi regional company do the same and if they don't you flip the tables? Do you think all other people in the world from all other countries do the same what would happen here? *sigh*

 When is Nobel launching kickstarter project

I have seen nothing but flat out stand up guys in John and Brannan. They strike me as the kind of people that will indeed honor a post about a BF deal made almost a YEAR ago. If they didn't, I wouldn't even flinch, like I said that post was almost a year ago, things can change. If you don't like someone pricing, try and get a better deal, or don't buy it, its that simple. Keep doing what you do Noble, I am behind you 1,000,000,000,000%
