I agree that the process is now much more enjoyable since I'm unattached. I have still contacted Brannan to confirm timing since there was a comment about someone's K10s taking 10 weeks (this sounds like an unfortunate 1-off due to the holidays), but can honestly say that I was completely fine whether I was told that they were ready tomorrow or still 4 weeks away.

After being over-hyped and enduring major delays and issues with my UM Miracles, I'm enjoying the process being "clean" this time. My K10s will have no hype or expectations to live up to, just the opportunity to be enjoyed immensely.

It is so encouraging, Loquah, to know that you understand what I was trying to convey and glad you liked the way I presented my idea. I had a powerful epiphany about all this this morning, and, so much so, I have intended to even write a book about it. I'm going to call it The E-Lack-Trick Universe, or... How To Make a Lack Work For You,

We're getting a bit OT, but just a quick thought... you might want to consider a different choice of words because the word "lack" suggests you are missing something (which actually involves being attached to it to create the awareness of being without it). What I took from your post and thoroughly agree with is that it's about being unattached in which case you don't have it, but you also don't lack it...

Just a thought.

Back on topic now, did you go Wizard or your own design?

Well, I just asked for Amboyna Wood with the crown logo on the front face. I suggested less red in it but will otherwise let the Wizard do his thing, all for the grand old total of $1599. Such a deal! (No, I really think it is)

Nice. I'm sure you'll be thrilled with the results!

Sometimes when I make purchase I get excited for it to arrive so I can justify the expense. When it arrives I listen to make sure it was a wise investment. Since ordering my k10 prestige there has been no excitement or anticipation and I think it is because after listening to them I knew it was the correct purchase and that I will enjoy them when they arrive. 4 days, 4 weeks, or 4 months, when they arrive I will enjoy.

Hi guys,

Thought I would post pics of the K10s that I should be receiving soon. Wizard's interpretation of "steampunk". Not what I was expecting, but I couldn't be anymore happier with the result. That little green detail on the right earpiece just does it for me :)

Well, I have not attained Zen Master status... yet, so I am with you on that score but I just keep focused on something else and enjoy what I have.

Kick the candy and get back into the swing of things by checking out these wonderfully blue Wizard-designed Kaiser 10!

Abalone and partially dyed wood come together to create an intensely textural landscape, while deep translucent navy blue shells with navy glitter throughout provide visual relief.

Have a killer Monday everybody, we've got some awesome stuff queued up this week!

Holy smokes! I won't quote it to drag down the thread, but those last two K10s were stunning. I especially like the green/amboyna combo - it's not the "traditional" steampunk but I definitely see what Wizard was going for there. Kinda reminds me of the graphic novel version of Stephen King's The Dark Tower series, if that makes sense at all. Similar aesthetic.

What is the default recommend tip with the K10U? Is it the comply medium or something else?

I use the blue Mediums, (softer) the blue are bit more difficult to get on, but with that, more difficult to get off as well smily_headphones1.gif

That being said, they are shipped with the medium size red tip fastened.
