I own a pair of  k10ua and recently I have tried katana. I must say katana is better for instrumental in terms of overall clarity while I don't think it is lighter in bass as some described, just it is presented in a different way. For example for jazz bass instrument the k10 sounds more like a punch (compare with katana) while katana sounds more like string instrument and more elastic (compare with k10ua). Katana also goes deeper and there is more fun for instrumental music.

So it depends on what kind of music you are dealing with. k10ua should be better for vocal and pop while katana should be better for instruments, and to me katana even has a better "bass" for jazz music.

I am seriously considering to upgrade into katana while I may still wait for Kaiser encore demo to finally decide.

I have only owned Shure SE425's and I enjoyed the sounds and the bass was ok for me. I am not a bass head. I have not owned any good headphones. This was my only point of reference!
I went for a blind buy of the Encore universals based purely on the help I received from the folk on here. I am not disappointed.
IF you are considering either Encore or Katana then you MUST test them both.
I love the Encore u's I have. There is loads of bass when it is required and never bugs me. I love the sounds I am hearing, I love the way it makes me feel. If I had the chance I would listen to Katana, however for me I have made the right choice, even though it was a silly blind purchase.
My music - Jazz, pop, EDM, dance, very few popular classical tunes; Jean Michel Jarre (electronic),
I have a recent preference for female vocals and shed loads of EDM or dance at the moment. All of these to my amateur ears are handled extremely well by the Encores.
Last night I was listening to Calvin Harris - Motion and the bass was really kicking, lol. Brilliant.

See the guy in the blue? He is my best friend, we have been friends since we were kids.

Yes, that's why he's in the picture.  I'm the one in the red.

Which Noble flagship has the best bass impact? And how much bass would it have say compared to Campfire's Vega or Shure's 846? Both are bass monsters to me.

Definitely the Kaiser Encore. Massive and punchy bass, but only when called for. The (now discontinued) K10 matches it when it comed to bass, but the Encore beats the K10 in sheer resolution, clarity and soundstage.
