That's a pretty bold claim! Cause it's Cake > Pie. :P

Thoughts? Also if The Wizard or Brannan can confirm on the wood? Thanks.

First, I agree with @Watagump, cake < pie.

Second, I think your CIEMs are pretty neat, very happy with the way they turned out. Will have to talk to Nancy regarding the wood used for the logo, my guess would be smoked Eucalyptus. I am also going to see if she can take some photos closer up.

I dig the dark wood, light gold contrast.  It's different.  Very Bourgeoisie.

I am now looking to take the plunge and buy my first pair of customs and my shortlist was the roxannes and the k10's but with the recent opinion of an owner of both that he prefers the k10 the pendulum has swung in that direction

before i spend my hard earned $ i need to know if the k10 sound sig will be to my tastes

i have owned the ie800's for over a year and  i liked the bass, the excellent mid range clarity,- treble could be a bit more detailed i feel. I rate them highly and enjoyed listening to them. They made me realise i was bit of a basshead

the cons are they are slightly warm and i get cravings for more resolution and detail.

based upon that any opinions as to whether they will be to my tastes or not ?

Thanks! Yea loving them, really like the red wires inside showing through too. I've asked Nancy for some better angles and picture of the wood logo, want to make sure I'm 100% happy before they're sent out.

But I'm really happy with the build time as I wasn't expecting them to be finished so quick with the CNY holiday.

With a matching color scheme. Definitely gotta go strawberry rhubarb on one side. Who is going to take one for the team?

Hi there! You should consider speaking with @Kunlun, he has some experience with the IE800 and also owns the K10.

Thanks to you and the help of a few other head-fiers, (sorry for annoying you guys) my decision on the K10 was made easier!

Really looking forward to getting these in my ears! Especially after reading VisceriousZERO's and other peoples opinions.

Also big thanks to Noble!

The K10 sounds better than the Roxannes.

I have done my testing, I have also asked my friends (who oddly have the same ear shape and therefore can listen to the K10s and Roxannes side-by-side) to test both. All of us have varying tastes in music and listen to different parts of music. One listens to how it sounds and how it replicates sound, one listens to metal and loves clarity in his recordings, and the other loves his guitars and drums. All of them agree on the Kaiser 10 being a one over the Roxanne.

I honestly had put my chips behind the Roxannes, but after listening to them I felt they slightly underwhelmed. I said to myself, give it time, it will grow on you... But unfortunately the K10 has proven itself to be the victor for me. It may depend on your ears and your taste, but for me, the reigning champion is the Kaiser 10. Dynamically, musically, vocally, our general consensus is, Noble has done something amazing with this CIEM.

I will be preparing my full review in a few days/weeks, along with some photos.

All hail the king, Kaiser 10!

I'd like to chime in on this too.

I've had the pleasure if owning a JH16 pro non-fp as my first CIEM and I loved it to bits till I had to sell it to fund something else.

So I slowly saved and when I was about to pull the trigger I was completely stunned because the Roxanne's and the K10 had Come out at the same time. Oh the dilemma! I've never owned any wizard designed iem.

So I trudged the pages and pages of initial K10 reviews and impressions. Sorenslim and kunluns review had me on tenterhooks, what could this K10 sound like!

Till then there were no reviews on the Roxanne's.

So I did it, took the plunge and got the K10 our of sheer blind faith.

Before I got my customs, I had the privilege of listening to a demo of the K10 and the Roxanne's.

K10 triumphed.

As a monitor iem, the Roxanne's are IT. Every bass kick and thump can be heard and felt, but there was a vile over the sound which I didn't quite like. In short I was a little disappointed.

Then I heard the K10. My ears were opened to whole new sound. Lows mids and highs were done well, daresay perfectly. The imaging and detail was sublime, the comfort on top of that allowed me to wear it for hours on end and just LISTEN.

Paired with my zx1 from Sony, the soundstage widened and gained a new depth. This to me is a beautiful pairing.

I would encourage anyone who is looking into getting a CIEM to just jump at the K10, u won't have to guess or wonder because they won't disappoint. When u need the bass, it's there. Vocals are sweet and the timbre resonates so beautifully. I've had mine for more than a month now and I'm loving it more every time.

A friend who is into puts it perfectly.

The Roxanne's are like a stallion, fast paced and exciting but you miss the beauty of the surrounding

The K10 is like rowing a boat down a river in a zen like state, enjoying everything that surrounds you.

Sorry for the long post, pardon me as I go row my boat now....

Thanks for those impressions. The stallion/row boat analogy sort of works for the next JH13FP/Noble 8C comparison as well, which I guess would be the next step down from Roxeanne/K10. Must be a house sound type of thing.
