This is to be determined. Most likely, yes.

Does anyone know? John? Brannan?

Thanks!

The low output impedance of the BTS ensures the frequency response of sensitive IEMs is unchanged, however overall sound quality may change for better or worse depending on your source and other variables. For what it's worth, I have had several people (including one of our international distributors) tell me that they prefer the sound out of the BTS connected to an iOS device than directly out of the device itself.

+1, headphonebar will have the BTS in stock once my CIEMs arrive so I am curious as well. If there is no evident degradation in sound with the BTS then it would be a great option.

I haven't seen much tests with AptX and Bluetooth 4.0 vs. cabled so would be nice to see if Noble has done anything of this sort with their BTS streamer.

Edit: Oops... I posted too late! Thanks for the response.

Just a theory, but the results may vary per source, as I would think the bt transmitter portion of the dap would also influence the sound

Regardless, the opinion of two guys that actually are owners of the company could be presumed as biased. There will be reviews offered and with the amount of bts purchased through the pre-launch I would hope that some folks will come forward with comments regarding the sq.

I look forward to getting mine as well..... Right now I have the dongle but I don't have the 15.5 inch cable, so I run around dragging more cable than necessary. First world problems, but a real bore none the less.

If it sounds better than it is out of an iPhone and can drive the IEMs adequately... then I guess it can be considered a Bluetooth-ed amp and DAC, no? $99 sounds like a bargain! :D

The total package is the bargain, hence the name bts, blue tooth sollution, where as before one could find a blue tooth dongle, but not a 15.5 inch cable. So you'd have to DIY a short cable, and few folks want to be bothered with that.

Sorry if this question has been asked but are you going to maybe offer alternative connector types on the 15.5 inch cable, such as an MMCX connection for Shure, Westone, ETC? Because I'd definitely want the BTS for my iPhone 6+ and se846's
