Anyway, if K812 would be more musical than HD800 I am starting feeling sorry for my wallet.

I strongly do not think it's the listener hearing (me). I can still hear up to 20KHz. In addition, it's only my iPod Nano 3rd that can't at all drive it even at max volume but my iPhone orifinal can but it's at 50%-60% of max volume to get a decent volume and music does not sound powerful as it is with other source like iBasso D7 smily_headphones1.gif

I actually got a feeling that K812 Pro is a better all rounder than HD800 not sure why xD

When you're saying better than the Beyer T1 you need some reference to sound more reliable, maybe something like that will do: http://www.head-fi.org/t/595522/akg-k702-vs-beyerdynamic-t1-in-the-studio

Looks great from the inside, I'm a bit surprise with the 36 ohm drivers. I hope those drivers will be able to create enough sound dynamics! Now what about the price? I know those pre threads will eventually determine the price. I hope everybody here will start complain on the price, this way the price will go down to a normal price range, let's say for example $500.

I doubt you can find it at USD500 even if the price drop unless you get them used. Will probably drop down to maybe USD1 000?

Am I the only one who thinks the omega stand doesn't match the headphone?

The makassar wood finish just doesn't work. If you've already got a room full of similarly finished furniture (yuck!), then at least you've got an excuse.

Black anodized aluminium or something would be better.... but would probably increase the final price.... by a lot.

I wish. From competitors products they still haven't really drop price much, so not looking too hopeful :(

It does look a little off.

I would rather it come with no stand and be cheaper though.

"Arguably they won't suit anyone pushing out hardcore EDM beats as bass doesn't boom out of each ear, but we were suitably impressed when it came to acoustic, classical and guitar-based tracks".

I was also impressed when it came to acoustic with the K1000, and the K-702! I got the feel that those interviews are a bit parve, they are made just to spread the word, is not like a headfier detailed review. .

I am really hoping these are K1000 level, regarding precise image and air. Dont have any doubts it will be very accurate and detailed, hoping for perfect balance and deep low end as well. If thats the case, well, this may be my last headphones for sure.
