which headphones should i choose?

i hear the audio technica m50s are the shiz. i see great reviews about them everywhere. But the only bad thing i hear is they aren't good for people who like a lot of bass. I was thinking of choosing the m50s or the sol republic master tracks because ive tried them at best buy and they have a lot of bass. They are both the same price ($140-$150) Ive never tried the m50s but since they have like 1000 times more 5 star reviews, should i choose them over the master tracks?

The ATH-M50s are known for being bassy music headphones and having a U shaped sound, so not as strong mids, and are not though of as good for surround sound gaming.

Amazon has some used ATH-M50s starting at $105.

Hello!

I personally do not think the ATH-M50 is bass light. They are pretty bassy in fact. The ATH-M50 however do have recessed bass at the lower end. If you prefer a fuller bass and strong, I would recommend you the UE6000.

Hope it helps!
