As for fit issues that is a case by case issue
And when they rec his impressions if there is a fit issue
It will be discussed then. I had a fit issues with spire ear
And could not get the CIEM. So why spook someone who is going through the hassle
Of universal. Calm your tone. No one hear is a be all end all guru. Unless your are a vender

I'm not a vendor, nor a guru. Nor did I mean to spook someone.

All I'm saying is, if people want to make a well-informed decision between the custom and universal version, they need to consider many aspects and the answer isn't quite as easy as your generalizing post suggests.

Another gross stereotype. How do you come up with these statements and where's the evidence to support them?

You'd just have to visit some of the universals threads, to see how people there care about sound quality too.

That statement regarding people owning universals not caring how they fit is the most meaningless comment I've read all week and I read some whammys.
Wow really how is that. I take the train and see many people with ear buds.
Not one CIEM. So I think it safe to assume my statement. Anyone who is wherein
The simple ear bud does not care or know. Again my experience in this drives
My point of view. I own a company with many employees not one knows or cares
Like people on this forum do. Maybe you are just above us all here or maybe just me.

I'm not going to start debating with you because I've read your posts and it's pointless. However we aren't at your company right now, we're not with 'your workers', we're you've just come to your own conclusions 'assuming' like the end to all. You're actually typing on an audio forum for 'audiophiles' and you may want to take a step back and look around you. You seem to be pretty fond of the whole 'CIEM thing' but obviously haven't read enough to understand how far universals have come and their following.

Goodluck with your CIEM, lets hope you don't need a refit or 2 or 3.

What your order number?

My best fitting earphone is 1+2. All my CIEMs make my ears sore after long period of listening especially SE5 and NT6 (EM6 hurts my ears badly even after 4 times of refit). JH13/16 are the best among them, I can wear them for the longest without any soreness, but my ears still feel there are something there. But when I put on 1+2, it just completely disappears, I don't even feel I am wearing anything at all. The isolation is poor though.

No, that is a different demographic entirely (commuter headphones/iems).

How many of those folks have spent more than a hundred bucks on those ear buds? I'll bet less than 1%.

Btw if you are INTERESTED in quality sound in loud areas than a CIEM is generally the way to go. Tighter seal, more noise protection.

chill dude no one hate you, all head-fiers love each other, this is the best forum i ever saw, all help each other and you can always spam with with PMs, so many people helped me here and without them i won't be enjoying the Music the way it should be, when i came here i had a Solo Beats and didn't know many words like bass, treble, warm, bright, extended treble and even learn how to get clean power for my source too! they all guided me to which headphones should i get to be able to listen to J-pop etc.

i am sure all will help you so don't bash others and they won't bash you, but one thing for sure all are ready to answer anything you want and willing to teach you new things.

I thought it was silicon
And that is the one the Gregor guy told me he. Could make them fit in my ears

Best isolation. But spiral ear hand-makes every single mould of SE5, no scanning, no dipping into acrylic melt. My ears are small, but thankfully Grzegorz tried his best to fit a se5 in them, but I have such a weird right ear shape that even the silicone SE5 makes it sore after 1-2 hours.

JH told me that they'd ship mine out early December and that I'm one of the first shipments (which I hope means first batch, LOL). So I'm hoping that early December is today. biggrin.gif
