I wouldn't worry too much about a bit of a delay in sending your impressions - the JH team are going to be snowed-under with orders, anyway.

I might be sold! Think I'll sleep on it first though.

They actually have a fairly detailed PDF of what they expect w/ impressions that you get after checkout.  I'd copy it in full but I'm not sure if it's allowed...

Ah I found it, it's in their support section.

Does anyone have direct experience ordering from overseas? I'm wondering what timescales are like, sounds like it could be months?

They don't have to come from a recommended practitioner, but you do need to take care to find an audiologist who is humble enough to listen to your specific requirements &/or who has specific experience in doing impressions for CIEMs, rather than only hearing aids. There are many similarities between the impressions requirements for hearing aids and for CIEMs, but there are also differences.

In particular, one needs CIEM impressions to extend past the 'second bend' of the ear canal, and also to adequately fill the helix of the ear, including the 'crus'.

Lost of info here:

Most CIEM vendors will offer a PDF or webpage with their specific requirements for impression-taking.

Yes, if you order now, it would not be a surprise to me if you received them towards mid-february, but you never know, Jerry might crack his whip and get the team working 24 hours a day!

When I ordered my UM Miracles, as part of their global promotion, it took just over 3 months, as I recall.

It wouldn't normally take that long for a CIEM to be made, but sometimes these vendors get snowed-under with orders and it's looking like the Roxanne is going to be very popular, especially when ordered at the Black Friday discounted price.

The TG!334 is still the best stuff (CIEMs, IEMs, headphones) I've heard. I look forward to your comparing it to the Roxanne.

I just ordered with carbon fiber and platinum flying girl logo, to upgrade my JH16s (non-FP). Earlier this week I was debating between the Roxanne and Audeze LCD-X. After auditioning the Audeze LCD-X, LCD-XC, and LCD-3 at a local dealer on Wednesday, I was surprised at how well the JH16s compared. The Roxanne should be way better!

One gripe I have now with FitEars is the Treble rolloff I'm starting to hear. I think it comes from using the 13Pro and the Hidition NT-6Pro. So I'm waiting on my 335DWSR upgrade :)

I have the tg344 and I made it custom. The point is the tg334 is closer to the jh16. But the mids are more recessed .

I am not saying anyone is wrong here either , just trying to help.

I do like them very much, but the clarity to me goes to the jh family of 13/16

Also I rotate my ciem,s. Just to hear the jh clarity when I want to just listen and get wowed. I do not walk around , commuting with the jh13. For this reason. Maybe I'm just a little you know out there !!!!!...

Congrats to all that ordered! I look forward to all the (without a doubt) positive impressions.

It is in the free artwork, but available only to the very selective and secret headfi headphoneus supremus subgroup called "The Illuminati Flying Platinum Girls Sisterhood".

That sounds like a good cult.

I couldn't resist and pulled the trigger on Roxanne. Withe the Black Friday discount the Roxanne is price somehow the same as JH16's normal price.. Damn this will really make a big dent on my wallet considering I just got my JH16 and still enjoying them.

So did I bro...

Did you order through Jaben or direct from JH?

I did my ear impression at Jaben after lunch today, for full CF while my wife also did her ear impression for "mystery" custom.
