Not crying, just stating my opinion here. Consumers are allowed to have opinions right?  - I'm still probably going to get them. I'll pull the trigger tomorrow, if so. No doubt he makes the best IEMs. Too bad he doesn't allow you early buyers to get the 20% off as well.

Happy Thanksgiving all!!

Thanks! The carbon fiber does look good, but I'd rather save the $200 myself.

It's actually $160 w/ the discount.

In any case ordered... $1468 w/ 2-day shipping.  Thanks everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving!

IMO, it's not worth investing $200 more for the carbon fiber option if you are not a musician ;)

My JH13s are in acrylic and I didn't have any problems in 4 years.

I am thinking the other way around:) The carbon just looks nice... and yes I am buying it for myself but when using it when traveling, I'd rather pick up my carbon CIEM's than just a solid black 'just as an example' :) Ah well... in the end its all about taste!

The fact is, and I hope that I am right, is that we are all buying a quality product that will satisfy our over demanding ears!

If they are really a notch above the JH13s, it's probably the only pair of headphones that you will need for the next 5-10 years.  Trust me ;)

I hope you are right... because buying a set of these every couple of years will be an expensive joke:)!

Be careful what you say - at least 15% of Head-fi members have actually walked that path of fire you are joking about! (I'm one of them, myself!)

I have been consumed with thinking about these IEM's. Cannot wait to hear of the first shipment or arrival. The wait is beyond cruel.

This comment brings back memories, when I first joined head-fi these guys were tearing up this forum: http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/ultimate-ears-ue-10/4505-7877_7-31805302.html

Anyone still have a set of these in their rotation?  It seems like 2 year olds like the Miracles and SE 5-ways are still pretty relevant.  5 years would be killer, but I know how this hobby is :)

I have been contemplating picking up the 13s and now see these.  When were the 13s first released?

The freq phase about a year or a little more. I have them , they are by far the best sounding Ciem I have . They just are very much everything I like. I do not use them everyday cause when I do put them on I still get the WOW this is great Lol. Buy both .

Has anyone asked JH Audio why they chose the name Roxanne? None of either Roman or Greek sirens were named Roxanne and if they wanted to name it after Alaxander the Great's wife they misspelled it. Her name was translated to Roxana. Also, the female character from Cyrano de Bergerac was spelled Roxane.
