I was thinking case origionally as I could keep q tips stored and the cleaning tool.

CF case looks nice but is PITA to use.  Yes, magnets hold the CF case shut. I use the JH round case.  Just need to be careful when putting it in there.  Have had mine for a coming up on a year and only issue was he plastic collars on the cables which are now metal and the sockets being installed too deep into the earpieces, which they fixed.

The CF case looks awesome, but I have yet to get the pieces back into the holders. I either use the round case or a brainwavz case

I had to disassemble it and reverse the negative impressions to get the earpieces to fit back in.  But I only tried that once 'cuz it is much easier to use either a small pelican case (#1010, #1040) or the round case for daily use.

HEH, that's funny, someone up in my neck of the woods thought it was a case for a hockey puck... just kidding, but they did wonder about it.

You also wouldn't happen to have a photo of these metal collars would you? Or do you still rock the plastic ones?

Here are some pictures.

You should try to get to the next Minneapolis meet. When ever it's scheduled for.

Awesome! Thought they wouldn't be anodized black. I would assume all new cables have metal collars, so hopefully its a non issue.

I will try to meet up at the next meet. I work with someone that was there this past fall. Didn't know I would be buying a new IEM at the time you guys got together. I would like to get more involved in the headphone categories. I'm usually perusing high end home theater meets/tours, as that's more of what I'm passionate about.

Interesting. You've asked them about it?

Seems like they are still pretty deep in the Roxanne back order, not a good time to start a discount on your products to bring in more orders.

Isn't that what buried them last year?

I ordered mine in mid-September, and I don't actually expect to receive them anytime before the end of the year. They are non-CF shells too, so build times should be a little better.

But you're right, it would be very prudent on JH's part to avoid any massive order backlog. I've heard horror stories of customers receiving their Roxannes 9-10 months after purchase.

Will just have to wait and see. I'm not getting the CF shells and patient as a person. While I understand the orders pushed them behind schedule, I would believe them to still have the sale. Just from my own personal perspective, if competitor decides to sell 20% off, JH knows it will take from their sales.
