New JH Audio flagship! "Siren Series Roxanne" - Page 48

I closed my eyes and didn't look at the total, so I don't know if there was an up charge for the titanium. I don't think there was but I can't guarantee.

Thought I could avoid Facebook forever until now. The savings was worth it.

Haha, yeah don't check the amount tongue.gif it will hurt anyway haha! But you have already placed your order? How did you get the discount via Facebook already?

No I don't think they will charge. They didn't charge for mine if I'm not wrong

When I went to the studio, they did ear molds and took my order. They give me the Black Friday discount early because I asked about it. I told them that I could wait, but since they had my fresh molds I guess they were willing to book it.

Just made an appointment with my audiologist! for friday afternoon:)

Think I am also going to order the extra black 'round' box. Just in case I need it... The magnetic closure on the normal packaging doesn't look that secure for traveling at putting them in my bag.

^ Awesome!

BTW, you may want to check earlier in this thread for notes on what to do during to minimize issues with your impressions.  I have an appt. next Tues with a JH Audio trained audiologist.

Hey everyone, JH Audio just posted what the discount will be, 20%!  So just $1440 for a CF Roxanne.  Won't give live until this Friday.

Thanks:) but my audiologist is an authorized JH dealer, he has also visited them some time ago! I think that he will know exactly on what to do during the fitting:)!

Did they change the prices?

I thought it was +300 for the cf

Totally excited about the new ones - I was goign to buy the regular (non 3A) JH16s as my first CIEMs (way more useful to me as I like them on the go / on planes much more than cans) but then the Roxanne dropped and I've been following this thread since. I'm an aero and car geek so carbon panels aren't anything new to me - personally I don't get it here (but of course, this is just subjective). Also, as far as I can tell from the pictures, the case isn't a reverse mold but a more universal cut. Anyone seen them in the flesh?

I do have one question for the more experienced of you: given that I'm not a musician - wouldn't it make more sense for me to keep my jaw closed during the fitting since I listen passively? After all, I'm pretty sure if I try to sing aloud anyone within earshot will make my lack of talent very clear.

(Also - what's this bit about a black friday sale?)

Thanks for putting up with all of the silly questions, much appreciated.

I can answer you in regards of the audiologist. I live in bay area also. I have use lisa tennanbuam service before. She would want you to do the biteblock with the vertical bite block position as that what jhaudio lab has been doing. However, what you mention about the listen passive is make sense as I also have some problem with fit in the past. I would say the wider you open your mouth the more seal and tight you get. So as long as the earmold cure in your ear without any pain then that earmold would be fine. Now it is all up to the lab tech who process your mold cutting and grinding to take off the rough spot.

I just checked the jh website and when you add it to your cart its already 20% taken off...

I assume that the cf option is 200 and not 20% off.

I really should've waited for this deal, but I really did not think they would include the Roxanne. Ugh. I may need to get some 13s at the discount price, though.

No, CF was always $200.  1800 * .2 = 360.  $1800 - $360 = $1440.
