New JH Audio flagship! "Siren Series Roxanne" - Page 408

My experience is very different, yes the wait for my Custom CF was long and frustrating but at no time JHA was rude and jerking me around. I was promised an approximate period but it was clear from the start it wasn't set on stone.

I expressed my frustration mildly here whilst waiting but throughout the period I didn't attempt to use this forum to pressure them to ship faster or incessantly writing them rude emails to demand a fixed delivery promise just because I have paid in advance.

When I made enquiry through the place I ordered, the communications are always polite and I made it clear it wasn't an attempt to pressure but just hoping it could be shipped faster.

I understand in this consumer centric society, consumer is king and JHA has bitten on more than they could chew by accepting too much orders. I understand they are not big enough to have an efficient and professional customer service department but I suspect they are so busy fulfilling orders they are at the end of their wits to handle complains well.

There is no excuse for the bad experience of a few valid complainants here and it is obvious that JHA has messed up in mishandling a small minority of their customers. The anger expressed here is justified to some extend but I would personally be more forgiving.

As a satisfied Roxanne user (who had waited long for delivery) I chose to enjoy my hobby a bit more, knowing how bad the waiting could be and move on. I love to hear more about how good or how bad the Roxanne sounds in this thread. Perhaps there should be a new thread on how messy and unprofessional JHA customer service is.

This sums it up.  I think this thread is quite informative.

After going through this thread I was a bit hesitant to order the Roxannes. So I decided to email to three different CIEM makers. Noble Audio, Spiral Ear and JH. This was over a month ago. So far I have only received one reply to my inquiry, surprisingly from JH Audio. So I decided to go with JH. Now I am waiting for my Roxannes, acrylic.

That's quite surprising because Noble guys are on their thread all the time.  I see people pming Noble quite often here.

I was surprised too, since I read that  they (Noble) usually reply very quickly. But now I am looking forward to the Roxannes.

The wait maybe long, but it will be worth it.

I am a happy JH customer with their JH5 and JP13fp. For their current top models, my preference is JH13fp > JH16fp > Roxanne. I was hoping Roxanne is an improved JH16 but IMO it is not and I still preferred JH16fp over roxanne if I am to go for another ciem with more bass than my jh13. ,YMMV. Of course with the stressed production line and long wait now I'm not sure if ordering anything with JH is a good idea.

This has been discussed on here a bit. The consensus seems to be 16 bass focussed. 13 more balanced. Roxanne best of both. (I have not heard the Roxanne.) Have a search for previous posts.

Anyways I am hoping the fit will be good because I would rather get plastic surgery on my ears than send them back to JH for refit.

Hahaha! I burst out laughing, thank you Mimouille.

you will find out yourself very soon. still better than waiting ;)

But in general, I appreciate this head-fi environment, at least can express their honest feelings and communicate with other people well, while it's not even allowed in other roxanne threads (like chinese ones), if you go in with a roxanne you don't like, it's either you or your roxanne has a problem.
