New JH Audio flagship! "Siren Series Roxanne" - Page 382

My brother received his Roxanne this morning he sent me a pic but said that the left earpiece has a loose connection & keeps cutting out.

He's going to try them with my cable to rule that out as the cause but as you can guess he's not overly happy about it...

It was a long wait. My first instinct was to say "JH, everything is forgiven". Once I listen through Roxanne, I changed my mind. I am so satisfied I wanted to say "thank you".

I think I am too presumptuous just to think of forgiving a brilliant artist, even momentarily.

May I ask where you are in the cue? Order number and when they received your impressions?
Thanks:)!! and enjoy those beauties!

I ordered through Jaben Singapore sometimes last year and . I probably waited longer than anyone I know but there is no order reference number as you guys seem to have.

I only had a receipt from Jaben. I know the date I ordered and I honestly believe every delivery is FIFO. However, I prefer not to disclose my exact order date just in case someone earlier is overlooked. I met at least one person who also took his delivery today and I resisted the temptation to ask him when he ordered his.

If he ordered later, I might get upset, if his order was earlier, he might do the same. I was so happy I decided not to ask. Fortunately, he didn't ask me too.

Once I get my delivery, it doesn't really matter if I indeed get it later. Hope this makes sense.

I met with my brother earlier to check the connection with his Roxannes & its the actual earpieces rather than the cable. Having looked at them its pretty obvious that the screw on the earpieces isn't long enough to accommodate enough of the nut to connect the cable properly.

I tried to take a few pictures but its kind of hard to see in them (it was quite dark as we were actually in the reception/cafe area of a gym) in person though its easy to see. You can kind of make out in the pic that there are only 3 rings to the screw on his but a little over 4 on mine. As a result the only connection that sits properly is the bass. to connect the mid range & treble connections you need to press down & over on the cable to get the pins into their desired places. Not ideal!

Mine are in the middle (DC) & my brothers are on the outside (RC)

That's pretty worrisome from a QA point of view...

Mine have a similar problem but I can at least get them plugged in.  The connector can be pushed and pulled in and out with the collar tight.  But in my case it is not affecting the use of the earpieces. I have had mine since December and have had no issue with loosing the signal. Was told by the JH guy at Axpona that I could send them in and they would fix them, but I don't want to be without them...

Got my second refit after waiting almost two months. The left earpiece that fit just fine is now too small and the cable connection sticks away from my ear.

Can someone kindly refer me to the person there that handles the problems? I'm going to see about a refund. I might have legal recourse at this point.

If you're considering the Roxanne's, do yourself a favor and buy something else. I have nothing but regret and over $1K down the drain with JHA. Never dealt with such dereliction.

Can someone weigh their universal version without cable. Preferably in grams.

Corbyn has been helpful for me, but you may want to do as the above post suggests.

Second day with custom Roxanne, extremely happy still but discover CF is actually a dust magnet.

It doesn't bother me but it's impossible to get a good macro shot with all the specs of dust.

Micro fibre cloth doesn't seem to help.

I don't think it's carbon fiber per se that is the dust magnet.

Have you ever owned a black colored car?

Anything dark, especially black and shiny will show every speck of dust. It's just more visible.

Whenever I photograph something black and shiny, I know I am going to spend a lot of time cleaning everything up in Photoshop. It doesn't matter how much you try to clean the surface. It's near impossible to get all the dust off.

But when it is cleaned up, black, shiny surfaces do look sexy.
