look through the pics posted in this thread (you can look at all the pictures posted by going to the top right of the screen & clicking view all by the recent pictures).

TBH though they look like any other custom but without a different connector...

I wasn't thrilled about the CF either, that's why I got the acrylic. They are a small, informal company and nice people in general, but they are all overwhelmed and barely have time to keep up with emails, calls, etc, so its not going to change anytime soon. You may just want to get the 10K. But some food for thought first:

They are overwhelmed with the number of orders for the Roxanne, they have big time musicians that they support which regularly have emergency orders, also delaying things. Noble Audio has ..., well, plenty of time to work on your order. You might just ask yourself "why?" for a minute before committing.

Your call.

Because they are newand JH has the advantage of being one of the first CIEM company when it started( correct me if im wrong) and has a loyal fanbase? Your point is kinda funny imo, I'm looking forward to demo the Roxanne once my K10 arrives but judging from my past experience with JH13 and JH16 demo, I'm not holding my breath.

That doesn't make any sense, if they are so overwhelmed, and busy, they would be able to afford, and hire additional people, that's the way a business runs. I've seen people waiting 4-5 months here. And the reason Noble, or for that matter any number of other companies, have time, to work on the order, you actually paid for, is that they know how to run a business properly. And wouldn't have any customers left, if they just kept them waiting.enjoy your Roxanne.

I will throw this out there.... Maintaining a lab and manufacturing costs are far cheaper in China than the United States.

Every major artist is wearing a JH product.

And many celebrities are wearing Beats headphones, pff. From what I have seen, the craftsmanship from Noble's "China" lab is top notch and I wouldn't mind "made in China" CIEM if that is the kind of quality I'm paying money for.

Lol, I'm referring to artist on stage of course. Yet to see an artist wear beats products during a concert. As for the artists wearing beats, mostly Interscope artists....

Nobody is doubting the craftsmanship!
It wasn't a derogatory statement, simply speaking to the costs associated....

Look, both JHA & Noble are fantastic sounding products. But this isn't a static universe, things change, all the time, and either you keep up, with the change, or get left behind. 3 months ago, I was gonna buy the Roxanne's, just on there reputation, then I spent weeks reading this very forum. Needless to say, I bought from another company. But getting the product , to the customer in a timely manner, is key.

Or communication, honestly, my communication with both Noble and my local audio store are great, thus, my first ever CIEM purchase experience is very enjoyable. While folks may think the Noble topic is full of meaningless chatter and all but I find it to be great and members there are always willing to answer any questions if asked.

Yep, its a long and painful wait. I'm still waiting for my second refit to return. I've been frustrated, but I would have regretted getting impatient and going another route, personally. You may feel different about it. Like I said, it's your call. Just wanted to give some food for thought because once you go custom, your stuck with it.

It appears that Ultimate Ears, for one, seems to be successful while managing customer service, along with supporting quite a multitude of major artists (no, they don't all use JH).  And they operate out of California, I believe.  I think you just have to pick your poison, as different companies operate under different management philosophies.  Some want to spend requisite money and time to manage the operational business functions (not the fun part),  and others view their business as more of an artistic endeavor.  Neither is right or wrong, it's just philosophy.  I may end up with a JH product, but maybe I'll wait to see if things get better sorted out over the next few months.

Yeah definitely, as such I always advocate to demo as many options as possible and don't base your decision on reviews and impression alone.

If I had purchased JH13, or 16, or Merlin ... based on pure number of good reviews, I will probably kick myself in the nuts ;_; Granted I'm very lucky to have access to a lot of gears for demo and this is not the case for many folks.

I have to say, when I first saw them, 12 bands per driver! Isn't that a bit over the top? But after listening to a demoed pair for just 5 mins with my iPod, I bought a pair, they are really that good! I got the AKR03 version though, not sure if they are the same as the JH Audio version.

Someone in another forum said that the AKR03 is similar sounding to the customs..but not the same with demo & normal universal

The ones I demoed were actually AKR03. :D

ARK03
