New JH Audio flagship! "Siren Series Roxanne" - Page 367

If they have a database of order numbers, I wonder why they don't categorize by iem type, then just post weekly "Currently processing orders xxxxx through xxxxx". They have to have some internal means of tracking.  It seems that would at least give people an idea of the status of their order.  Unless they are using some sort of confidential prioritization process.

This is the most likely reason why orders don't ship on FIFO.

I don't know if this will make you feel any better (hopefully not worse) but my Roxannes and JH16's are both back at JHAudio.  The Roxannes for repair (channel imbalance & a small hole appearing on the side of the right earpiece) & refit (I sent my JH16's so they can use them as a 'stare & compare' for the refit).  The Roxannes & JH16's were made from the same impressions( 2 years apart, could my impressions have gotten larger?) but the part that goes into the ear canal is larger for both ear pieces on the Roxanne.  I don't know how long this will take but dealing with the repair department has been a pleasure so far.  I've read every post in this thread and the frustration is understandable.  IMHO JHaudio is a small company that has been overwhelmed with orders for a new and difficult item to make.  They should have had better and more accurate communication and possibly had processes in place to produce that item reliably before taking pre-orders.  With all that being said 'build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door'.  That is what the world has done and the bottom line is.....you can always take your business somewhere else but if you want a Roxanne this is the only place to get one.

Life on the bleeding edge of audio is not for the faint of heart!

Why does the 16 and the RX have the same serial number?

Mine are the same. If you search back a few pics to the shot I have of all 3 of my customs on a desk you can see the JH13 & the RX both have serial 4696. I assume its a number assigned to a customer rather than a serial number.

Yep. JH16 with the same number too

The number is the # of your impression.  If they are made from the same impression they will have the same number.

That hole appearing is concerning in terms of Roxanne longevity. Is that the CF version of the Roxanne?

Would hate to have that happen after the Roxanne is out of warranty.

Yes that is the CF version.  I didn't notice that blemish until I started taking closeups for the repair.  It can't be felt in the ear but I might as well get it fixed since it's going back anyway.

All 3 of the JH customs I've posted in this thread have come from different impressions so that can't be how they're numbered sorry.

The number of my impression is 10095 (according to JH repairs) so that is the assumption I made.  Maybe what they really meant is customer # ?

Based on my recent experience with UE on my UE18 Pro Custom, and the wait/issues with the Roxanne, I thought I would share a possible option to those who don't want to wait 6 months+ to enjoy their earphones. If you can cough up a little more money, the UE PRM offers custom fit and customized sound and lead time is probably similar to mine: about 14 business days after receipt of impressions.

Just got an Email from Earphone Solutions that the JH UniRox with balance cable (same as the AKR03) will be available in June!

Anybody with pics of the non CF Roxanne customs?  I'm not too crazy about the looks of the CF, seems to leave a relatively inconsistent pattern.  Still waiting to see if customer service straightens out, otherwise the Noble 10K is looking better and better.

I can see where you're coming from but as it stands, I asked the question and that was the response. I'm holding out hope that it's true so I can get my ears round my Roxannes before my birthday next year ;)
