For Regular Orders, our current turnaround time is approximately 3-4 weeks and you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number upon shipping.

For Roxanne orders, our current turnaround time is approximately 7-8 weeks and you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number upon shipping

For Roxanne CARBON FIBER orders, please note that the carbon fiber is a very time and labor intensive process and we do not have an exact turnaround time to date, but ask that you please be patient and contact us back in a few weeks."

hope this help anyone in questions.

EDIT: can't remove the red color for some reason.
They already answered this a few weeks ago. What is worrying is that if you know the number of pending orders and you know the time to make a CF Roxanne, and you know your capacity, you can give a rough ETA. So it is not that CF Roxanne is delicate and long to make and blablabla, it is that they have still not devised a viable way to produce them. Thanks for taking my money first though, that process worked without a hitch....

Ok I will stop I promise. In two years when we still do not have them, I do not want to be "that crazy old guy on the Roxanne thread".

I have absolutely no regrets switching to acrylic. I really enjoying them now.

I understand that position and I thought about doing it to. But I then realized it's not what I wanted in the first place so why let the wait become the deciding factor in my purchase .

No, there is always better. And worse.

Ah, the age old opinions cherry. I don't have to keep up with the latest and greatest. I enjoy my lot.

We've waited this long already Al, it would be wrong to throw the towel in now!

I definitely agree that at this level, there is just different.  However, there is a better and worse based on your preferences :)

If it takes “two years”, nothing you could post would be interpreted as “crazy”.

I sure hope you guys don't have to wait much longer. I'm guessing JH is going full out to fill pre-orders before they even start getting universals to dealers. I'm glad I don't have a pre-payment on a universal, but even if I did, JH is a real and thriving business that will get orders filled eventually. I paid (in advance) for a Headstage Arrow 4G and I waited 7 months for one guy (who,  as I understood it,  built amps part-time). I thought I had given money away. I received one reply in that entire time (your amp has shipped).

I ordered an arrow one time (Refurbished 3G) when they say it will ship in 1 week (mentioned in the order page). I waited 2 weeks and asked for an ETA. They can't provide an ETA so I cancelled. The point is you agree to wait at some reasonable time as pre-agreed and not an indefinite time. It's not a good business practice nor fair to the customer. Time is money. The time you wait for is an opportunity lost for your money to grow. Investing 101.

Being a small business is not an excuse. There are a lot of them out there which goes above and beyond when meeting demands and expectations. JDS Labs and Leckerton to name a few.

Of course JH Audio gets a whole lot of orders with Roxanne. But they still have to manage expectations. They still have a reputation to keep.

I see JHA will be at the Orange County Meet March 22. I wonder whether I'll be telling them how much I'm enjoying my Roxannes (CF BF #12076), discussing fit issues, or maybe they'll be bringing my pair for personal delivery that day...

The irony is that given their track-record with taking upfront payment for pre-orders and then delaying delivery, everyone understands that the quickest way to get a new JHA product is to pay upfront and pre-order, thus giving JHA the luxury of being able to ask for what is essentially free funding for their ventures.

The only way that will change is if people vote with their wallets. Just because you're an audiophile it doesn't mean your brain has gone awol.

You make a good point about how they fund their projects. It's not a bad way either. I mean, they could do a KickStarter or something, but getting pre-order money to fund a new machine (to make CF molds) works too. It may not be "good investing for capital growth" for buyers, but buyers just want the product anyway and JH wants the funding to make it.
