I think so to. I had the ak120 but I always liked the sound of the hibino better. . But the ak 120 was better in every other way lol.

I mean the GUI. Is much faster , the actions are much faster, the size is about a third as well as the wait. And the storage is much more in having two card slots.

Does anyone have an opinion about pairing the Roxanne with Red Wine mod AK120?

If I chase this mod, is the Titan worth it or just the regular AK120?

I thought the Titan sounds exactly the same as the regular AK120, just higher storage capacity and tougher finish on the casing?

Sorry to repost the same question but it was glossed over last time:
Anybody have any information on then the first batch of universal roxys will be shipping?
Moon-Audio said end of January but their product page hasn't even changed.

Also what DAPs will people be using with their roxys?
I've decided on the Fiio X5 so far

Oh, I'm getting that with the CF - light weight but high wait...

Actually I heard a rumour that such an option would exist...but after the difficulties they had with CF, they might reconsider.

Its a nice setup. Did you encounter any slight harshness in highs?

I'll be using an iMod + Leckerton Audio UHA-6S mk2 someday when my pair arrives.

DX50 -> Leckerton UHA760 and Studio V 3rd anv and will more than likely be getting an X5 and might try out the DX90, too.  Will be trying to audition the X5 and DX90 first but they look very promising.

I'm really interested in AK120 Titan for my Roxanne. More than anything, I think I want to stay portable. I don't really completely understand the impedence discussion, but it looks like Red Wine Audio AK mod lowers the impedence from 3 to 1. This is very positive, correct?

They also have a B and S mod, but it seems that they need to utilize a separate amp. I haven't really considered this direction. How much am I missing? Should I be refocusing again?

Get the ak 120 or another single box dap solution
That is what mobile is. I used to carry my iphone
With a DAC and an amp. Ok it sounded great
But what a pain and with an iPhone you cannot get the resolution higher than 16/88.2
Now it's really good but without the phone or an android phone you can
Get all resolution. And the ak120 and others Un modded
Are great to. Do not let memory be a desidding
Factor either. As long as you can change a chip that is good enough
