I mean, sure, it'd increase their shipping costs, but it'd keep their reputation intact, and that's surely worth the outlay.

Or they could have contacted theirs customers who ordered acrylic and ask them if they just want the rounded metal case as an option. After seeing the CF case, I would rather have the regular case. It's much for functional, simple and prettier. It already built like a tank, not as light compared to CF. But, I don't care.

DX50/iPod + an excellent headphone > AK??? + middle of the pack phone.

Yeah I agree the CF case doesn't seem very practical at all and with all the cosmetic flaws, I prefer the metal case.

The issue is that they say the regular case does not fit he Roxanne's,  I have both and it is a tight fit. Some Roxanne's may not fit so well depending on the earpieces and cable length.  Mine just barely go in there. But they do fit.

Thanks for the pic. I think the fit is just alright. Perhaps if you opted for the longer cable then it might be a problem. By the looks of you pic, it is good enough for me.

Besides, when on the road the rounded case is much more practical and easier to use than the CF case I reckon. It only occupy a small space in your pouch/bag.

hmm, i guess its not every manufacturer's philosophy to keep it consistent..

Is that not the container for the universal model?

Maybe it's just me but in a $1600 TOTL CIEM I would find that unacceptable. Pure white is pretty, but the yellowish white reminds me of a dirty toilet bowl. But given the chaos the release has been I can understand why you'll just bare with it.

I do not know the answer to that. I do know that this is the accessory case you can get off their site. They customized it for me and gave it to me for free to store my Roxanne while they fixed my CF case.  Customer service at it's best...

Maybe it could be the lighting in the room that he perceived as being a yellowish white?

The lighting definitely play a part, it's a little yellowish but not that bad in real life looking. Perhaps the transparency causes it. It's "Whitegirl" color.

The most important i'm enjoy with the sound.
