Will try to send yet another email the JHAudio and let's hope their customer services decide to answer this time.   frown.gif

Maybe you want to ask for clear cable? My still fine, I'm consider I'm not a careful user. I wrote them a mail on Friday but no respond yet.

Is this the new 'fixed' cable or is it still the original?

Ic, perhaps different setup. Perhaps not enough burn in, I find the sound stage is small instead. I like the detail, found lot of bad recording.

I will tell them that if it is not the "NEW DESIGN" version they announced on their video, don't even bother sending ...

I know in context of the variety mixed messages that seem to be coming from JH this might not help much, but when I chatted w/ Corbyn on the phone she said that if I wanted to switch to acrylic my Roxanne would be made in about a week because I had waited so long (which isn't quite true, mine is a BF purchase).

So at least it seems from JH's perspective the major backup is CF, and that if the acrylic orders have been slow to come that should (hopefully) be changing soon...

Eh, I'm fine sitting tight for the time being, if it takes another 2-3 months (as long as all the issues are sorted) I'm cool with that.  But then again I recently picked up a Concero HP and it's like I'm getting to know my TG!334s all over again...

It's the best setup I've heard with my 334s by a good margin.  The main issue for the Roxanne might be a 2.2 ohm output impedance - but my thinking on that was Jerry shopped it around with the AK120 so... but I did buy it for driving the Roxannes.

>_< cable beheaded itself again. And all I did was open the case. Left Roxanne in its case then I open it and the cable connector is beheaded on the Left IEM.

Sadness.

ACK, that sucks, was it supposed to be the corrected version?

I just checked mine and found one nut was loose, because a chunk of the nut had broken off.  This was supposed to be the 'fixed' cable.  Back to JH...

Well, at least that means they'll have to fix it again.

Oh my godness. Is your cable black or clear? Get them to send 1 each to you, i think they will agreed.

JHAudio is making quite a scene ( in a bad way). I think I would consider myself being lucky that I haven't recieved mine yet. It seem to me a pair of roxanne without issues is a rare gem. I would be quite upset if I have to mail things back and forth to them as I live in australia and postage is not cheap at all and the turn over time would drive me up the wall. Oh well, Just hope they fix everything up before sending anymore out.

Truely disappointed..

From reading through this thread (apart from being quite glad I didn't jump into the BF orders) it seems to me as though JHA are having a tough time of it;

1. There has been 'intense' demand - at least for a niche product - this has caused them to have to do loads of extra work that they weren't expecting.

2. They are dealing with new technologies - two on the same product - new connectors and CF layups

Due to the above, they are finding things aren't quite as well thought out as they should have been, therefore they are rushing things, causing complications with point 2 (things like fingerprints and basic box finishing) which has led to further hangups on point 1, all to get them to 'impatient' (not that you guys are... IMO) consumers and therefore there hasn't been enough QA due to the limited time scales.

Though the announcement and release would have both benefited from a delay IMO.

While this may be acceptable with a 'new' company, JHA is an established dealer and should have anticipated this, but didn't and therefore I think they are 'somewhat' justly being slated, however they are dealing with two completely new technologies in terms of CIEMs, so maybe they need some slack.

Oh well, whatever happens I'm spending my money on HD800s and then debating K10/Roxanne in another few months - hopefully standard Roxxy impressions will have surfaced properly by then../Stabilisation of this thread!! - Here's hoping. :beerchug:
