I went for clear trans. My jh16s were solid black. Not a fan of CF.

JH do rejects impressions if they deem it to be 'not suitable' i think

May I ask for your order no. ?

I would like to see a pic of one of the Roxanne custom IEMs in situ in the ear - say, from JH's pair or Jude's pair. From what I am reading, I've got visions of looking like Shrek when I am wearing them!

On Facebook, Jaben JH audio's wall has some pictures of universals when someone is wearing them. smily_headphones1.gif

Thanks! That were great some great points on what we can expect from the Roxanne! smily_headphones1.gif pretty good one's as well!!

The Jaben FB wall shows that the universals are quite clunky in the ear. The pic with Jerry facing the camera shows them to be a lot more sleek in his ears (I'm guessing he has his own as custom fits to his ear). I'm hoping my customs are at least as low profile as Jerry's :/

12 BAs is an awful lot of hardware to stuff in your ear. Even the SE-5 struggles with some people's ears, and that's only 5 BAs !

(of course I realise not all BAs are the same size, but still... the point remains relevant)

I think the crossovers and wire are just as important, because the Heir 5.0 is very very small.

You realize that drivers vary in size, right? The Wizard managed to fit 20 drivers in an earpiece -- he obviously chose the smallest he could find.

Point taken, but I doubt Jerry's chosen only small drivers for the Roxanne.

We'll see.

I specifically asked this of Mr. Harvey because the universal really stuck out. He put his own pair in and they did not stick out too much. He said his was an early prototype and the final version was actually even smaller (more sleek).

No Shrek worries.
