I think you should call them and give them the forwarding address. , at the beginning of the summer my family goes away for about 3 months , I had them change the shipping address.

That's what I felt too. I'm kind of disappoint when JH keep delaying the Roxanne.

I order a Roxanne too but universal model, they said it would ship out in the 1st 2 week of Dec, and right now, I'm still waiting.

How did you order a universal version? I called them a while back to order the universal Roxanne and they said that I cannot order the universal and that the universal will only be sold through dealers. They told me I would have to wait until dealers got them and buy from the dealers.

That's right, I order from a dealer. Both dealer and JH stated that it will be shipped in the 1st 2 week of DEC.

Thanks for all your advice about the X3 pairing!
Just a thought for those of you who have the privilege of owning a pair: If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't try to rush the JH folks to produce your much anticipated earpieces. Rather, I'd want them to take their time and get it just right so that everything is perfect, just like a fine instrument, which the Roaxnnes really are. smily_headphones1.gif

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but those don't look deep enough past the 2nd bend to me.

I mean this respectfully, but honestly.

Those impressions are not (IMO) of sufficient quality for JH to create a decent CIEM mould from.

Compare them with this:

Can you see how much detail is missing from the tips of your impressions in comparison to the impression in the above picture?

They don't need to be quite as deep as the above picture, but they do need to accurately include the shape of the 2nd bend, and yours only partially include that shape. If you want to get a decent seal and correct bass response, you need to have the 2nd bend accurately and crisply moulded on the impression. It's absolutely one of the most critical parts of the whole impression (and of the completed CIEM).

The impressions in your photograph are really 'borderline', and I strongly suggest you get some better ones done. It will save you lots of hassle and wasted time, in the longrun.

Again, please don't be personally offended; I am just trying to honestly help you and save you disappointment and hassle.

1) Were your impressions done by a professional audiologist..?

2) Did you specifically tell the audiologist you need the impressions to go past the 2nd bend?

If you did, you would (IMO) have the right to go back and get a new set done for free.

.

Yep..that impressions are not well taken IMO too. Either you have a very very unique canal shapes or that areas are definitely lacking.
