Need new over-ear headphones for about $70

My Sennheiser HD 202 broke, so I need new headphones for about $50-$70. I've been thinking about Audio-Technica ATH-M30, but they cost almost $100 where I live. I also heard good things about Monoprice 8323, but I can't find a shop that sells them here and I can't ship them from abroad.

Portability isn't important to me and I'd prefer if the headphones didn't leak too much sound. The headphones would be used for listening to music on my phone/tablet and gaming on my PC.

Right now I'm looking at Sennheiser HD 419, but from what I've read it seems that they leak sound.

I hear that the previously $200 M80 is $40 right now at Radio Shack.

If you can't swing those, I'd recommend:

MDR 7506, Philps Citiscape Uptown

The A900x is would be my top recommendation if you can find it cheap.

They been sold out for the last week the M-80 and I was going to get those instead of the M-100 but oh well

If your willing to go to $100 and get the v-moda crossfade lp they are pretty good if you like a lot of bass..... They do require a lot of burn in to sound pretty great though

I personally like the lp for gaming myself

Hi there,

I recently (after a small research and by Closingracer's suggestion) decided from a Sennheiser similar to yours to a Shure SHR240A. So far, so good. I am really happy about the decision.

And I see that the SHR240A is exactly in your budget.

Cheers

The shure 240A is a great headphone overall but at the same time I wouldn't be so sure about for gaming since for most games you want the bass

I had a pair of Sennheiser hd419 and the bass was lacking for what I wanted and wouldn't exactly be good for gaming
