Not including tubes, I have invested approximately $750 into this amplifier in addition to many hours.  It is my pride and joy.  I am asking $650.00 AUD plus shipping.  Please note that as I am in Australia it has a 240 volt transformer.

Unfortunately I have become addicted to tube rolling (I'm serious) and need to go SS for a while.

As an OTL amplifier this really only suits high impedance headphones.  It drives my T90s with great clarity, balance and imaging.

Good morning,
How is it the amp about any operating noise with various tubes?
The amplifier is working 100% perfectly?
You can talk more about the tubes you have, especially 12AU7?
You have no idea of the tolerance range of the voltage amplifier funciamento:
230 volts, would not create problem? 220 volts? Australia is 240 or 230 volts in homes?
Thanks.

Hi there, and thanks for your post.

The amp is 100% functional with no operating noise.  A noisy tube will produce a low level hum, but with the right tube it has a very dark background.

I believe that there should be no trouble using this amp in Europe (230 V?) as I have used European rated amps here with no trouble.  In fact, I would be surprised if the circuits in homes are always exactly the "standard" voltage with no variation.

I have literally hundreds of tubes for this amp ranging in price from $10.00 (white box lightly used Japanesse made "Baldwin" 12AU7) to NOS NIB Amperex 7316 for $100.00.  Some are visible on my eBay store ( http://stores.ebay.com.au/Winter-Cottage-Books ) where I go by the monicker "arnold_rimmer"

I believe a good starting point to be the following:

RCA 6AS7G (NOS NIB) for the output (8 pin) tube and RCA clear top 12AU7A (NOS NIB) for the driver (small 9 pin) tube.  I could sell this combination to you for $40.00 in total.  Whatever you decide, I will provide stock tubes as part of the purchase price.

Cheers
