which headphones after CX890i

Thread Starter

my 890i's recently broke so which do you think i should buy next?

i really liked the 890's, they were clear and crisp, however the high treble did hurt sometimes

i have tried bose MIE2i and I did not like them, I prefer my cx 200 earphones to them which only cost £20.  the bose treble was too low for me, way too low.

the gadget show in the UK strongly recommend the SE215, however, the same people also strongly recommended the MIE2i so I don't know whether to listen to their advice

the SE215 are a great price for me, I don't really want to spend more than £120

i listen to rock music, alternative and acoustic.  mainly rock

can anyone advise?

thanks!

I'm a Chinese so I am not sure whether there will be any mistakes in grammar.I think that se215 is good at pop,and what 890 is good at is in classical musics. So I think that se215 doesn't suits you.I suggest you try mx985,you know ,it is clear and sounds very nature.Although it is a little expensive than se215,but I think it's very worthy.
