It happens all the time on these threads please don't take it personally.  I'll post something that I feel is important and no one says a thing, then I'll post something else that I feel is semi important and twenty posts in a row ensue,  there is no rhyme or reason to any of it.

Hey now, I'm just poking fun at y'all haha, no offense taken  There was really nothing to talk about in my post at all, hence it was rather odd to see people replying to it

Absolutely! I'd be happy to take some of those off your hands, solely to ease the burden of course.

I think it's safe to say from the amazingly varied range of discussion that this thread offers support for whatever ails the Head-Fi community so please, Lorspeaker, share your troubles and we'll try to reduce your burden...

Just v concerned about Mike from NY...

he is struggling with his hd800sale, incoming stax n AD,

besides the cheap buys on those magnificent Sony MA900, Evo..

threatening to screw his sense of what is "value"..

I hope he makes it thru this week.

And i have not mention his tubes cables amps...that he is stashing away under his table to no avail.

Shall we pray....

========

Me...I hope my LCD3pads will make it to my home...its been 3 months since i "bot" it.

I have faith.... i will not go mad...popping vitamin C tables to calm my nerves.

3 months!  Where were those being shipped from?

You have my deepest sympathy.

I am currently awaiting the status of an incident report with VLine (public transport in Australia) at the moment.

Their bus leaked coolant all over my bag, so as it stands

iMod 4g

PortaTube

Vmod LP2's

Work Laptop

Work BlackBerry

are all toast.

Just glad I had my MadDogs and AK100 on me at the time rather than in my bag.

Had a heap of cables incl a Chord Company RCA-Mini cable etc as well, but hopefully that will clean up ok.

Glad I have my Mad Dogs and AK but it just wont be the same ampless.

I lost a few other incidentals as well, but nothing that I cant live without.

Scott

UPDATE:

So looks as though they wont cover any of it at this stage, though their website states, provided items are in a suitcase, they will cover up to $600.

Sadly between those items and my work gear I am looking at ~$3000 down.

Best case is they will allow $600 which will go to work and I will be out of pocket for my gear.

Fairly happy at the moment...

Yeah it is the suck :(

Heya, how do you like you Beyerdynamic DT1350?

I am thinking about a pair of portables for gym/commuting.

I currently use my MadDogs on the train and some bluetooth in ears for working out, but I hate in ears and well the sound is good for BT, but....

If they were good enough I would almost part with my MadDogs but man I love these things.

Glad they werent lost in the great gear drowning :P
