I'm now waiting on my Aune T1 to come (the sale came, and they've been ordered), as well as for my new budget speaker system (HiFiMeDIY Sabre DAC -> Lepai lp2020a+ -> Pioneer sp bs22lr) to come in. The suspense is killing me :D

WOOHOO!! Nice additions!! I've become addicted to my LCD2s in short order...I love everything about them.

I've heard those Pioneers are REALLY good for their price!

Thanks, and same! Their sound really IS addictive, I haven't been able to get them off my head recently!

And yeah, I hope so! Basically I had a grand total of $200 to spend, no more no less, and that combo came out to like, 70 cents underneath that. Fingers crossed it sounds good!

I think you'll be good...these sound amazing out of my Meier gear, but much to my surprise, even with my little AudioEngine D1 usb dac/amp, which is about as budget as it gets ($149) they sound pretty good. If they're a "10" out of my Meier stack, they're a solid "7" from the D1. They can be driven by almost anything, they just scale way up when they have good quality gear upstream.

We need to start a club for those of us who love the Audez'e comfort...My pair are snug and stable, but without being overly "clampy". The leather keeps my ears very cool and I don't notice the weight at all. But those of us who bought a pair recently benefited from the upgraded earpads, so I'm glad I bought them when I did!

Today the whole speaker system came in. After some minor setup, everything is good to go without any major bumps in the road! They sound great, and the only thing that I'm waiting on now is the Aune T1... some time in the next two-three weeks, probably

Well, I'm in need of support from my own thread...lol

I've decided to send back my Audez'e LCD-2s...I've had them for three weeks and it's been quite a love affair!

I'm going to enter into a period of suffering in hopes of being able to pick up either the 3s or the new Xs in a couple months. It would be hard for me to afford both right now, so this is the only decision I can see making. Audez'e is generous enough to allow the 15% restocking fee to go toward an upgrade assuming the purchase is made within a reasonable time frame, so back to the mother ship they will go.

I do have my T1s and Grados to keep me company, and I'm thankful for that...but it's been so long that I've been wanting to get a planar phone, so to cut my time short for the time being is not easy. These are the most beautiful headphones I've ever seen and I am head over heels in love with Audez'e.

Console me, brothers!!!!!

:(

Hang in there, Focker!

I feel your pain and wish you new found enjoyment of your T1s and Grados until the day your new Audezes are in your hands.

Nice upgrade :D and really great info about Audeze and their trade up policy.

That's a really good looking DAC/AMP.

This thread has been great for both good luck and speedy delivery.

Now I need this thread to work for me as I bought a Fostex T10 vintage off eBay moments ago, GREQ on the vintage thread gave them thumbs up so can't wait to get them.

I need the speedy shipping blessing too, so here I am. My vinyl headphone stand is late (the ebay users daughter fell sick, which normally I wouldn't believe but he's reputable and he approached me, I didnt have to bug him), and my Aune T1 should ship out today or tomorrow. I'm so pumped!

What do you know! The Aune FINALLY, after weeks of anticipation, shipped out yesterday and should arrive by wednesday. The headphone stand will never arrive, as the eBay seller has now refunded me for the purchase. Oh well.
