RCA interconnect cables (BUY or DIY)

Hello,

I'm looking for a pair of good short RCA cables for connecting my Modi to my receiver.

I need a place that will ship woldwide.

I don't want a pricey cable, something around 15$.

I can also make one myself but in that case I need a recommendation for a good wire + RCA plugs.

Thanks :)

Anyone?

Even a place that I can order some wires from and make my own cables?

scottosan, Thanks for your reply.

Which wire do I need to buy for making RCA cable?

Or maybe I should just buy this:

Here :
Go with either Canare or Mogami. Should do the trick.

Ultra Cheap :
I have a lot of spare CAT5 Ethernet cables so I just ripped into that and made a set from those. I used 3 cables (2 source + 1 ground) and braided them and soldered them to a set of RCAs that I got from radio shack. Works better than the cables that I bought from a retail store. Total spend : $6 for set of RCA plugs

monoprice is pretty cheap

except shipping costs more than cables for outside of US

There are several good bulk RCA coax unbalanced analog interconnect cables available.

These pages describe what qualities to look for:

I would put extra emphasis on low end to end resistance of the shield.
