I'd imagine they would b very nice! I also really enjoy my HE 400 for EDM. Although it's not entirely as neutral as the HE 4 or HE 5xx variants

Also a correction to this comment... he has the LCD 2 >.> herp derp, has any one suggested he try the LCD 3?

I like how Audio GD have both single ended and XLR so its more versatile?

I did a quick read were some say the Mjolnir might have better SQ?

The Mjolnir might hav better SQ but it's stricly an amp, where as the AGD NFB 10ES2 is an dac and an amp for about $100 less [I just got one] so as always it depends on your budget.

Adtionally is the Soloist he is using SE out? Going Balanced out would give him a better sound stage, and more than enough power to drive those headphones very nicely!

Im using SE out yes.

Yeah the Audio GD is a little cheaper overall, cause I dont even need to buy XLR cables for the amp/dac.

I was thinking about the 10ES3 cause it got 5,9W @ 50ohm.

But they also have a strictly amp with 4,5W @ 50ohm for 400 bucks, the NFB-6.

The question is, since the NFB 10ES3 got a DAC, and only 230 bucks more expensive, will it have as good quality components?

(yeah im being serious)

It does, I own it and it's a wonderful Unit. All of King Wa's gear is top quality, the reason it costs less is the case. instead of two big metal cases he only uses one, so the simplifcation of combing two units into one unit results in a better overall quality for the price.

Trust me the AGD 10ES2 [or 3 that u will get] had better quality and resultion! I was suprised how warm  my oDac actually was, the first time I compared the AGD to the oDac

Do enjoy it HOW EVER, before u get the 10ES3 you could also get the less expensive 10.33 the 10.33 has a warmer wolfson Dac. which you might want. I kinda wished I'd gotten the warmer one as my w1000x really likes a warm source [meaning I don't use my w1000x at home any moar it stays with my warm portable hm801]

still ideally U want something as clean as possible in ur DAC section, so the benifits of the 10ES3 are that if you plan to pair it with a Tube, you'll get a better overall quality [imo] when pairing a very clean dac with something as rich as a OTL Tube. Although a warm Dac pairs nice with a hybrid Tube.. so there are a few options

but if u do just get the 10es3 it's a great amp :D [the only differance of the es2 over the es3 is inputs and the es2 has buttons and not knobs]
