For Sale:
FS : Sony MDR-1R

Will Ship To: CONUS

I have a pair of Sony MDR-1R that have been used less than 4 hours. I'm selling because I just don't use them enough. I will post pics later tonight and edit this post. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Thanks.

Pics please?

How do you rate the bass response of these?  Any headphones you can compare them to bass-wise?

These are beautiful smooth sounding and incredibly comfortable heaphones I loved mine. But if your looking for anything more than your average good bass that is not their specialty.

So they won't compete with the Denon D2000's you sold me?  Which I LOVE still and thank you for that!

Hi Oregonian,

Sorry, I haven't been able to post pics yet, my work kept me in another city for a couple of extra days. Ill talk to my wife and have her take some pics. I can only compare the bass to my HD-650's, DT-990's DT-880's, MDR-7506's and a handful of IEMS I've owned over the past years. Keep in mind that I was never good at describing what I hear and using all that audiophile jargon. I can say that the bass on the MDR-1's is smooth sounding and not overly emphasized. I was never a big bass-head anyways, so I liked them. Its a tight bass too and not flabby sounding.
