Open-to-Closed mod - any easy and non-invasive technique?

Ok, It's been a while since I've posted, and really, I'm just getting back into headphones. I'm working in a shared studio space and am in need of good cans, that are wireless. So, based on reviews, the Sennheiser RS 220's seem to fit the bill (back ordered I'm afraid). Anyway, I do know they are open and I'm concerned it will annoy my neighbor. It's an all-concrete space and VERY acoustic.

Short of making wooden domes (as I've seen before) is there anything I can do (besides lowering the volume) that will at-least lessen sound leakage? Can they be opened up easily to perhaps tape up the grill and/or fill the cavity with some sort of sound dampening material? I know this will change the sound, but any tips - one way or the other - will be much appreciated.

If you really wanted to you could probably get dynamat and put that on the insides of the grills, or any other material that does the same thing.  Not sure how much the sound will change with those cans but when I cover the outside of my HD600s with my hands (effectively making them closed) they sound pretty terrible.  I would just recommend getting a closed can instead.  Why do they need to be wireless?

Your neighbor won't listen your music with open back headphones. On the contrary you would be able to listen all the noise he makes or any outside noise.

They need to be wireless because I'll be working while wearing them and can't have dangling cables. At any rate, I probably am over-thinking this. I doubt my neighbor will be bothered, just thinking ahead just in case. I definitely don't want to spend this amount of money and ruin the sound by making them closed. So, I think I will see how it goes. Thanks for the advice!
