EMU sucks, sounds tragically, and RME is something very decent... Don't be fooled, and don't say I didn't warn you when you search where to put that EMU after hearing RME (trash can could be a good clue)

Uhh, you do realise this thread died nearly a year ago. There is no need to resurrect it just to bash EMU. If you feel that RME cards are better than EMU cards start a thread about it in the appropriate forum (comp-as-source) that details why you feel RME is better than EMU instead of ressurecting threads (and in the improper forum, this thread was created before the Comp-as-Source and dedicated source forums split).

I feel that each card has it's strengths and weaknesses that can make or break the decision to own one in your system.

But I don't use the analog outputs anymore.

This thread was over a year old, eh?

That was a year ago (and he has since replaced the 1212m with a Benchmark DAC1). You can read Iron_Dreamer's impressions of the modded 1212m here.
