I priced them out and it would cost 80 to get these project shells unless I simply get some of the regular orange and blue ones. I bought stuff like that before and often the insides are less than ideal  for using.

One of these days SF one of these days. You'll laugh at them when you see them, but cry and wet yourself when you hear them.  Out of the blue, whammo when you least expect it ...they will be there.

Don't go off spouting crazy talk, optimistically they'd be at the $298.67 tier, and really that's still quite an amazing achievement since you know the competition there is nothing but rough.

OK then let's safely say given that they will both have 40mm drivers, and both use pleather earpads, that  we can revise that to the $250 and under.  BUT if I add in a custom OCC cryo'd cable ( not balanced mind you ) then look out all bets are OFF. Of course I will be using the $3 right angle gold plated 1/8 Neutrik plugs that everybody charges $30 for

Also what if I were to add in some P.W.B. rainbow foil or creme elctret treatments.  I'm sweating at that thought alone right there.

^ The hell is going on tonight, why am i being attacked by so many Canned-Openers. O.O

^ Hmmm don't really listen to much jazz but i do have some jazz laced hip hop so...... but you already know the answer meng. Need i shill these Bruce Logan Lees to death. : P

GET ON DAT HYPE TRAIN CUZ THEY SOUND AMAZING WITH PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING FOR DIRT CHEAP.

edit: or go for the ATH ES700s cuz they are mid centric with with good bass and treble as well. Crazy nice for the price but it has to be shipped from Jpn so......

The Logans still bests them though. :)

Thanks, the ATH look nice, but I should have specified that I want over ear. So those logans can stay away from me yet another day.

^ You know you are gonna eventually fall for da hype, why delay/ deny the inevitable. C'mon just give in, listen to that voice inside your head, dewitt, dewitt it now.

........... you know you wanna'.

The ATH WS99s is a great all rounder, even though they have bass emphasis its overall sound is still damn balanced. You can find used like-new sets on the sales forums for like $120 or so.

edit: oh those new Onkyo cans should be pretty nice as well, they have some fancy titanium driver or some 'ish like that and will make a great set of all rounder cans that is similar to the ATH WS99s from what i have gathered. Plus they come with detachable cables so...... WIN WIN. Think they can be had for $150 and under these days. Seen used sets on the forms for like $100 or lower.

Also the new AKG K545s seems like a headphone version of the VSonic gr07s from others impressions so far, but they are a bit spendy at $200 and there seem to be QC issues with drivers louder on one side and driver flex, etc.

Hahaha the voice in my head has other purchases in mind. Fortunately on ear headphones don't really interest me, but the price and apparent "performance" of the logjams is interesting. If i was going to get on ear I would likely get the allesandro ms1i or 2i, as all I've read are great things regarding their performance with jazz.

^ What's your budget anyways??? Cuz if you are interested in my dusty stuff, Masa' WAYNE seems to be REALLY impressed/ and is in love with his AKG Sextitties.

I am sure nick and the kicked da' Canned Crew will fill you in on some cans that ain't as bass centric.

Doesn't jazz require great quality bass as well as mids??? Think it can pass with decent treble, no???

Why do people even bother to argue over things like this?
