^ Nah actually they are VERY soft and gives the sound A LOT more air than conventional deep bore tips tbh.

Sounds crazy dry/ BASSY with conventional rubber tips.

MAN DO THESE HAVE BIG BOLD FULL NATURAL BASS FOR A BA!!! :basshead:

Tried my favourite "works with everything" silicon tips and no go. They need more insertion, not a lot but more than a standard mushroom will allow. Half a foam earplugs worth is good for me.

Other curiosity. These are one of the few IEM's I have to wear over the ear. How is the fit for you?

^ With conventional tips these sound VERY dry and CRAZY BASSY, which makes them sound like cheapo conventional bass iems. The wide bore tips even recesses the mids and loses A LOT of the micro details/ lushness/ silkiness of the presentation. With hise onion layered tips it gives them MUCH more air, hence micro details are more overt/ forward with great lush sounding bass quality along with a great extension in the treble.

That dry sound is TOTALLY GONE!!! Those onion layered tips balances the bass along with the rest of the sonic spectrum as well as gives them much mo' air/ layering. MY GAWD!!! :basshead:

SOOOOOO natural sounding bass/ presentation for a BA, BUT i kinda detect some funky resonance sounds with certain tracks i never heard from the song/ recording before. Kinda' strange but yeah....... no really a deal killer but still.

maybe that is in the track recording itself? They might be out-Mikrosing the Mikros?

so..it's an onion and not an accordion?

I need to go to a musical class in order to figure out the types of accordion shapes one would find in real life...

I think SF played the Onion in his school band, that's why it is so confusing.
